Volunteering as a Governor or Trustees

Vacancy Information

Endeavour Multi Academy Trust is always pleased to hear from individuals who are interested in volunteering as Local Governors or Trustees. These roles offer a rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills, experience and perspective to support the education, wellbeing and future success of our children and young people.

Our governors and trustees play a vital role in providing strategic oversight, offering support and challenge to school and trust leaders, and helping to ensure high standards, strong safeguarding practices and effective use of resources. You do not need prior experience in education, we welcome volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds who share a commitment to our values and a desire to make a positive difference.

We understand that taking on a governance role can feel like a big step. To support you, a full induction and ongoing training programme is provided, alongside access to guidance, mentoring and professional development opportunities. This ensures all governors and trustees feel confident and well‑equipped to fulfil their responsibilities.

If you are interested in becoming a Local Governor or Trustee and would like to use your time, skills and experience to support our Trust, we would be delighted to hear from you. Further details about each role can be found in the role descriptions.
