NOTE: The Governor Committees at local school level will have devolved power. They will monitor the progress of the School Development Plan focusing on any identified risks to finance or educational performance. It is best practice for the chair to attend both meetings, so they have a complete overview.

The Curriculum and Learning Committee will be about Curriculum, Data, Attendance, Exclusions, Safeguarding, Development Plan, SEF, Assessment, Marking and Teaching Quality.

The Logistics Committee will focus on Staffing, CPD, Use of Budget, Resources, Health & Safety, building or capital spending, ICT, Staff Attendance, Performance Management and including Staff Code of Conduct.

Our Governance and Leadership Structure

Endeavour Multi Academy Trust has a clear governance and leadership structure to ensure strong oversight, accountability and effective support for all schools in the Trust.

Members have ultimate responsibility for the Trust and meet annually at the AGM. Trustees provide strategic leadership and oversight, supported by a series of specialist committees including Standards, Finance, and Audit & Risk.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads the Trust and is supported by the Executive Board and Central Support Team, who oversee day-to-day operations, finance, estates, safeguarding and data protection.

At school level, Local Governing Committees operate with devolved responsibilities. They monitor progress against the School Development Plan and focus on educational performance, finance and risk, ensuring that each school remains accountable while benefiting from the strength of the wider Trust.
